Whereas
Charles Sarjant< no role >
Gent
one of the High Constables
of the Hundred of
Ethorne
in the County of Middx exhibited his humble Petition unto this Court
Setting forth That the Petitioner hath served the Office of High Constable in
Uxbridge
Division in the said Hundred of Elthorne
for the Space of three years and
upwards And the Petitioner therefore humbly desired this Court that he might be
discharged from the said Office of High Constable This Court being satisfied of
the Truth of the premisses doth appoint

of Uxbridge within
the Division and County aforesaid Gentleman
to be High Constable
within the
said Hundred of Elthorne
for Uxbridge Division aforesaid in the place
and stead of the said
Charles Sarjant< no role >
And this Court doth Order that the said
Abel Aldridge< no role >
do forthwith (after Notice of this Order) attend one of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace of this County residing in or near the said
Division and take his Oath before such Justice for his due Execution of
the Office of High Constable
in the said Hundred of Elthorne
for Uxbridge
Division aforesaid And from and after the time of his having taken such
Oath the said
Charles Sarjont< no role >
is to stand absolutely discharged from being
High Constable
for Uxbridge Division aforesaid.

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
to pay £20.4s.2d to Mr. John
Lane as Clerk to the Justices
appointed to take Care of the
Distempered Cattle
An Account of Moneys claimed to be due to Mr. John Lane
as Clerk to the
Justices of the Peace appointed to take Care of the Distempered Cattle in this County
being laid before this Court amounting to the Sum of Twenty Pounds four
shillings and two pence which he prays may be paid unto him And it
appearing unto this Court that the said Account is just and right It is Ordered
by this Court that Mr.
John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer
of this County do pay the said Sum
of Twenty pounds four shillings and two pence unto the said Mr. Lane in full
of his said Demand whose Receipt together with this Order shall be a
sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer
for such payment

of Vagrants and that the Receipt of the said Hannah Altersell together
with this Order shall be a sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer
for such
payment.
