Complaint being made unto this Court of the Negligence of

Collector of the moneys arising by the Tall payable for the Hay and Straw brought
into and standing to be sold in the Haymarket
in this County that he hath not duly
and properly attended his Duty nor made his payments to the Executors of
John Mist< no role >
Paviour deceased as by an Order of the Court of Sessions of the Peace for this
County holden by adjournment on Thursday the third day of May in the year of
our Lord One thousand seven hundred and fifty three he ought to have done It is
thereupon Ordered by this Court that the said
George Horrell< no role >
be and he is hereby
suspended from his said Office of Collector And it is hereby recommended and
referred unto

and
Bartholomew Hammond< no role >
Esqrs.
three of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
of this County to appoint some
proper Person to be approved of by them to be Collector of the said Tolls in the
Place of the said

for present Occasion in order that the
Executors of the said

may be satisfied And that the said George
Horrell do forthwith make up and deliver his Account to the said three
Justices of the Peace
who are hereby desired to make their Report touching
the premisses to the Court on the County day of the

Session of the Peace to be holden for this County.

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
to pay £38.19s.3d to Mr. John
Lane as Clerk to the Justices
appointed to take Care of the
distempered Cattle.
An Account of moneys claimed to be due to Mr. John Lane
as Clerk to the
Justices of the Peace appointed to take care of the Distempered Cattle in this
County being laid before this Court amounting to the Sum of thirty three pounds
nineteen shillings and three pence which he prays may be paid unto him And
it appearing unto this Court that the said account is just and right It is Ordered
by this Court that Mr.
John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer
of this County do pay the said sum
of thirty three pounds nineteen shillings and three pence unto the said Mr.
Lane in full of his said demand whose Receipt together with this Order shall
be a sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer
for such payment.
