By adjournment on Thursday the twenty seventh day of Febry 1755 .

Order for Mr. Higgs Trear to
pay £2.9s.6d to the Churchwardens &
Overseers of St. Clements Danes
by them paid concerning
Mary Ancliff< no role > a Vagrant.

Application being made unto this Court by the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Clement Danes in this County praying to be reimbursed
the Sum of two pounds nine shillings and [..] six pence by them disbursed and paid
in and about the removing and conveying one Mary Ancliff< no role > a Vagrant from the
Parish of Standsted Mountfitchet in the County of Essex to Goring in the County
of Berks This Court upon Consideration had of the Premisses doth Order that
Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay the said Sum of two pounds nine
shillings and six pence unto the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor and that
the Receipt of them or one of them shall be a sufficient discharge to the said
Treasurer for such payment

Order of Recommendation
concerning Repairs wanting
to be done at the House of
Correction & New Prison .

Upon reading the several Petitions of Henry Wallbanck< no role > Keeper of the House
of Correction at Clerkenwell and William Pentlow< no role > Keeper of New Prison at
Clerkenwell in this County therein mentioning that their said respective Prisons
are very much out of repair and severally praying that this Court would be
pleased to give Orders for such Repairs to be done to the said Prisons
respectively as to this Court should seem most fit It is thereupon Ordered by
this Court that it be and it is hereby recommended and referred unto George
Errington
< no role > Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Bartholomew Hammond< no role > Esqrs . and such other
Justices of the Peace for this County as will please to be present to meet
together on Thursday the sixth day of March next at ten of the Clock in the
Forenoon and take a view of the said Prisons and to examine and see what
Repairs are necessary and wanting to be done to the said Prisons respectively
and to make their Report touching the premisses to the Court of the next
General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County.

By adjournment on Thursday the twenty seventh day of February 1755.

Order for electing Thos.
Lane Esqr. to be Chairman
of the Court of Sessions.

His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx now assembled at
this present General Sessions of the Peace holden for the said County do elect
Thomas Lane< no role > Esquire to be Chairman of the General Quarter and General
Sessions of the Peace to be holden for the same County between Easter One
thousand seven hundred and fifty five and Michaelmas then next following.
