Bromley and her said Child, And it now appearing to this Court by the
Report of Vigerus Edwards< no role > Hammend Cross & Richard
Chamberlayne Esqrs. Justices of the Peace of this County that
they have examined into the Matter of the said Petition And
Are of Opinion that the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Ealing be allowed the Sum of two pounds
and Eight Shillings which they Adjudge a Reasonable Satisfaction
for the Charges which they have been at in relieving And
Maintaining the said Ann Derrick Otherwise Ann Bromley< no role >
the Vagrant and her Child in the work house of the said Parish
This Court being of the same Opinion with the said Justices of the
Peace doth Confirm the said Report And doth by Virtue of the
Statute in Such Case made Order that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of
this County do pay Unto the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Ealing or One of them the Sum of two pounds and
Eight Shillings which this Court doth allow them for the Charges
above mentioned, And that the Receipt of them or One of them
with this Order Shall be a Sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer
for such Payment.

By Adjournment on Saturday the Second Day of March 1750 .

a Vagrants Lying in of
a Child in the said Parish.}

Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. Clement Danes in this County have exhibited their Humble Petition
unto this Court Setting forth that Mary Evans< no role > (wife of David Evan< no role > 's
gone from her) a Vagrant not having a Legal Settlement in the said
Parish of St. Clement Danes was on the Ninth Day of January last
found Wandering in Labour in the said Parish and being Carried to
one of the Parish Nurses of the said Parish was on the Same Day
delivered of a Female Child, by means where of the Inhabitants of
the Said Parish were obliged necessarily to Expand the Sum of Two.
pounds Six Shillings and Sixpence for the lying in and Maintenance of
the said Mary Evans< no role > & Child, And that it Pursuance of the Statute in
Such Case made the Petitioners conveyed the said Mary Evans< no role > to one
of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for this County who Examined
the said Mary Evans< no role > and Committed Her to the House of Correction
Pursuant to the said Statute And the Petitioners prayed this Court to
Order the Treasurer of this County to reimburse them the Said Sum
