Order for drawing up a
Representation to the
Lord High Chancellor
against Henry Broadhead< no role >
Esqr .}

Upon Consideration of Several Affidts. laid before this Court
concerning Some irregularitys alledged to have been committed
by Henry Broadhead< no role > Esqr . in relation to his Office of a Justice of
the Peace of this County, This Court is of opinion that a
Representation be drawn up to the Lord High Chancellor against
the Said Mr. Broadhead for the Same; And doth thereupon Order
that it be, And It is hereby recommended unto his Majesty's Justice
of the Peace of the Said County herein after named (to wit)

and Such other Justices of the Peace of this County as Shall
think fit to be present or any three or more of them as a
Committee to meet together at Hicks Hall on Thursday the
fourteenth Day of March instant at ten of the Clock in the
forenoon to draw up the Said Representation to the Lord
High Chancellor of Great Britain against the Said Mr.
Broadhead.

Janssen Esqr. Sheriff of the County of Middlesex do Severally
Solemnly Swear that we have not directly or indirectly
received any Sum or Sums of Money Office Place or
Impolyment Gratuity or Reward or any Bond Bill
or Note or any Promise or Gratuity whatsoever either by
ourselves or any other Person to our use or Benefit or
Advantage for making any Return at the present Election
of a Member to Serve in Parliament and that we will
return Such Person as Shall to the best of our Judgement
appear to us to have the Majority of legal Votes.
