of Goal Delivery.}

It is Ordered by this Court that it be And it is hereby
recommended and referred unto his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace of this County herein after named (to wit) Thomas Lane< no role >

as Shall think fit to be present or any three or more of them as a
Committee to meet at Hicks hall on Thursday the Second day of
November next at ten of the Clock in the forenoon to draw up a
Representation to the Judges of his Majesty's Courts of King's Bench
Common Pleas and Exchequer Setting forth the great
Inconveniencys occasioned by an Order made by the Court of Gaol
Delivery holden for this County at Justice Hall in the Old Baily in
July Sessions in the Eighth year of the Reign of his late Majesty
King George the first against receiving Indictments from Middx
or Westminster after the hour of two in the Afternoon of the Second
day of the Sessions of Goal Delivery, to the intent that the Said
Order may be vacated and Set aside.

By adjornment on Thursday the 12th. day of October 1749.

Order for Mr. Higgs
the Trearer to pay
Several Sums of
Money to the Inspectors
of the distempered
Cattle.}

It appearing to this Court by Report (One tenus) by Several
of the Committee of his Majestys Justices of the Peace of this
County in this behalf appointed to inspect the Account of
Moneys alledged to be due to the Inspectors appointed to use
their Endeavours to put a Stop to the Spreading of the Distemper
amongst the horned Cattle in this County for their Labour and
Paines about the Same, It appeareth to this Court that they
have examined the Said Account, and find the Same to be true,
In which Account it is mentioned that there are due to the
Said Inspectors (to wit)

5s. a day}£38.5s.0d
