any such person or Persons to be Conveyed and Carryed as aforesaid by reason of such
Persons Sickness or Impotency or by occasion of any other extraordinary Accident, That
then so much of the said greater Rates as shall exceed the Rates hereby before Ascertained
shall not be paid unless the Same be first Communicated and Certified to the Justices of the
Peace of this County at their General or Quarter Session, and be approved and allowed of by
the said Court of Session. And for the more easy knowing the Number of Miles any Rogue
or Vagabond is to be passed or Conveyed from any Parish or Place in the County of
Middlesex to the first Parish in the next adjoining County, a Table of Miles is hereunder
Specified.

And it is Recommended by this Court to the respective Justices of the Peace of this County
to mention in words at length the Allowances to be by them respectively made for the
passing or maintaining of such Rogues or Vagabonds as aforesaid. And It is also
recommended to them to order such Rogues or Vagabonds as arc to be passed out of this
County to the place of their Legal Settlement, to order them to be passed and conveyed out
of this County and to be delivered to a Constable or other Peace Officer of the first Parish
in the next County adjoining to the County of Middlesex in the Way leading
towards the place of their legal Settlement; and in Particular where any Rogue or
Vagabond or Rogues or Vagabonds is or are to be passed out of Middlesex to St. Albans
or any other place in Hertfordshire in the way to St. Albans then to order such Rogue
or Vagabond or Rogues or Vagabonds to be conveyed quite out of the County of Middlesex
to the Parish of Ridge being the first Parish in Hertfordshire adjoining to the Parish
of Southmims in Middlesex and in the way to St. Albans and to be delivered to a
Constable or other Peace Officer of the said Parish of Ridge . And It is further recommended
by this Court to the respective Justices of the Peace of this County, whenever any Rogues
and Vagabonds are brought before them in order to be passed or Conveyed away that they
strictly comply with the Directions of the said Act by Whipping or Sending them to the
House of Correction before they pass such RoguesandVagabonds.

And this Court doth Order, that this Order be forthwith printed, and that printed
Copies thereof be transmitted to the Justices of the Peace and their Clerks, and also to the
High Constables of the County of Middlesex .
