electing Thomas Lane< no role >
Esqr . to be Chairman of
the Court.}

His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx
assembled at this present General Session of the Peace holden
at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in and for the County of
Middx on this Seventh day of September instant do
continue and elect Thomas Lane< no role > Esqr . to be Chairman
of the General Quarter and General Sessions of the Peace
to be holden for the Said County between Michas one
thousand Seven hundred and forty Nine and Lady day
then next ensuing.

By adjornmt. on Thursday the 7th. day of Septr. 1749.

Esqr . in relation to the
County Goods.}

Information being given unto this Court by Mr. Thomas
Northcote Housekeeper of Hicks Hall in St. John Street
in this County that Several Goods belonging to this County in
Hicks hall aforesaid want to be repaired & amended and that
Several other Goods therein also belonging to the Said County
are in So great decay that other Goods ought to be provided
in Stead thereof, Whereupon It is ordered by this Court
that it be And It is hereby recomended and referred unto
Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esqr . one of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace of this County to view the aforesaid goods and
to order and direct Such of them as are capable of being
repaired to be Sufficiently repaired & amended, and also
to order that other Sufficient Goods to be provided
instead of those which are in decay and not fit for Use,
And the Said Mr. Mainwaring is desired to lay an Amount
of the Charge of amending the Said Goods which wart
to be amended, and also of the Goods to be provided
instead of those which are not fit for use before the Court
of Sessions of the Peace for this County.
