pounds, Sixteen Hundred pounds and two Thousand pounds to Repair or
Rebuild the said Bridges and to Answer the other Ends and purposes mentioned
in An Act of parliament made in the Twelfth Year of his said Majestys
Reign Intituled An Act for the more easy assessing Collecting and levying
of County Rates And Whereas it appeareth to this Court at this present
Session that the said Bridge called Brentford Bridge is now rebuilt in a
Substantial and Workman like manner And that all the Money raised on
the three first Rates or Assessments had been paid and expelided to Answer
the Ends and purposes mentioned in the said Act And that three fourths of
the Money collected by Virtue of the said last Rate have been also paid
and Expended to Answer the Ends and purposes mentioned in the said
Act which said last mentioned Rate for Two thousand pounds is the
last preceeding Rate made upon the Towns parishes and places
in the said County for raising Money for the Ends and purposes
mentioned in the aforesaid Act Now for as much as it appeareth to
this Court that it is necessary that a Considerable Sum of Money should
be raised and a Rate for that purpose made upon the Towns parishes
and places in the said County for raising of Moneys for the paying the
expence of Rebuilding the said Bridges and for the other purposes
mentioned in the said Act of parliament This Court upon Consideration
of the premisses is of Opinion And doth accordingly order that a
General Rate be made and Assessed upon every Town parish and
place in the said County for raising the Sum of Eight Hundred
pounds which this Court doth think necessary to be raised to pay the
Charge of Rebuilding the said Bridges and to Answer the other Ends
and purposes mentioned in the said Act, and to the intent that the
said Sum may be raised for the purposes aforesaid This Court by
Virtue of the said Act Doth Assess upon every Town parish and place
hereinafter mentioned in the respective Hundreds and Divisions
in the said County of Middx and within the Jurisdiction and Authority
of this Court according to the proportion which they have been
usually Assessed towards the raising of Moneys for the passing
and Relieving of Vagrants, the respective Sums of Money
following (that is to say)
