Order for electing and
continuing Thomas
Lane Esqr. to be
Chairman of the Court }

His Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of Middx now assembled
at this present General Sessions of the peace holden for the said County
Do elect and continue Thomas Lane< no role > Esquire to be Chairman of the
General Quarter and General Sessions of the peace to be holden
for the same County between Easter One thousand Seven
Hundred & Forty three & Michas then next ensuing.

By Adjournment on Thursday the 24th. Day of Febry 1742.

It appearing to this Court by a certificate Dated this 24th Day of
February instant under the Hands of Thomas Moore< no role > & Francis Hole< no role >
Esqrs . two of his Majestys Justices of the peace of this County being
of the Committee for stating & adjusting the publick Accounts of
the said County that they have perused the Account of Henry Wallbanck< no role >
Keeper of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell in this County
beginning the Fifth Day of January in the year of our Lord One
thousand Seven Hundred & Forty two & ending the Twenty third
Day of February in the same Year and Examined the same
with the Vouchers, And find that the Sum of Twenty two pounds
four Shillings & Six pence is due unto the said Henry Wallbanck< no role >
upon the said Account for the passing & relieving of Vagrants &
Vagabonds untill the Twenty third Day of the same Month
of February inclusive, And the said Henry Wallbanck< no role > praying
that this Court will please to Order that the said Sum may be
paid unto him. It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer of this County do out of the first Money which shall
come to his Hands as Treasurer pay the said Sum of Twenty
two pounds four Shillings & Six pence unto the said Henry
Wallbanck, And that the said Sum be allowed to the said
Treasurer upon his Account

Whereas William Nicholls< no role > High Constable within the Hundred of
Spelthorne in this County hath Exhibited his Humble petition
unto this Court setting forth That the petitioner hath served the
said Office for upwards of Ten Years And he therefore prayed
this Court to discharge him from the said Office This Court being
Satisfyed of the Truth thereof Doth appoint William Salway of
the parish of Ashford in the said County Gent to be high Constable
within the said Hundred of Spelthorne in the place & Stead of the
