And do find by a Report of the Ninth day of
September 1742 under the Hands of James
Clitherow Samuel Tatem< no role > John Poulson< no role >
Merry Teshmaker< no role > Thomas Moore< no role > and
William Morice< no role > Esquires being a Quorum
of the Committee of Justices concerning the
new building the Said Bridge. which report
Stands Confirmed by Order of Court, that
there is due to Mr. Dunne & Mr. Marqnand
the Contractors for building the said Bridge
including Six pence P foot allowed by the
Measurer to the Contractors to the County
for the old Stuff of the Temporary Bridge} £1580..7s..4d

And we find that there is due to Mr. Thomas
Horne and that he ought to be allowed for
attending at the new Bridge and taking
Care that no bad or Sammel bricks were
used or looking over the Labourers that were
employed by the day to keep them to their
works, and for attending on the Paviors to
See that they used no Stones but what were
of a Proper Size. Etc.} £5..5s..0d

And wee find that there is due to Mr. James
Horne and are of Opinion that he ought to be
allowed for Measuring the temporary Bridge
viewing Butlers and Kidwell's Houses near
Brentford Bridge making a report of Ditto
estamates of repaires for attending the
Justices at old Pallace Yard Hicks hall and
Brentford , and for measuring the works
at the new Bridge, and making up and
Settleing all the accounts} £26..5s..0d

And we find that there is due to Mr. Samuel
Bond and are of Opinion that he ought
to be Allowed for measuring and Settleing Etc.
the Several works of the Bridge as above} £15..15d..0d

And we were of Opinion that James Ashley< no role >
Pastry Cook ought to be allowed for the damages
done him in making use of his Celler to put a
needle thro' Etc.} £6..6s..0d
