said William Nicholls< no role > And doth order that the said William Salway< no role >
do forthwith (after Notice of this Order) attend Sr. Thomas Reynell< no role >
Bart . One of his Majestys Justices of the peace for this County
residing within the said Hundred or some other Justice of the peace
for the said County residing within or near the same Hundred And
that the said William Salway< no role > do forthwith take his Oath before
the said Sr. Thomas Reynell< no role > or other Justice as afore said for his
due Execution of the Office of High Constable with in the Hundred of
Spelthorne aforesaid And from & after the time of his haveing taken
such Oath the said William Nicholls< no role > is to stand & be absolutely
discharged from being high Constable within the said Hundred.

By Adjournment on Thursday the 24th. Day of Febry 1742 .

Order Concerning the
choice of a New High
Constable in Holborn
Division}

Whereas Mr. John Wilson< no role > High Constable of Holborn Division
within the Hundred of Ossulston in this County hath served the said
Office of High Constable for the Space of three Years & upwards
And it being contrary to the tenor of an Order of Sessions that any
High Constable in this County should continue in his Office above
the Space of three Years It is Ordered by this Court that it be
And it is hereby recommended unto his Majestys Justices of the
peace for this County residing within the said Division to meet
together at the Vestry Room of the parish of St. Giles in the
Fields on Thursday the Tenth Day of March next at ten of the
Clock in the forenoon to consider of a proper & fit person to be
High Constable of the said Division in the place & Stead of the
said John Wilson< no role > And to retorn his Name & place of residence
to the Court of the next General Quarter Sessions of the peace
for this County on the County Day of the same Sessions And
let Notice of the said Meeting for the purpose aforesaid be
given to all the Justices of the peace residing in the said
Division

The like Order for the Justices of the peace residing in Finsbury
Division to meet together at the Red Lyon Coffee House in
Red Lyon Street Clerkenwell the same Day & Hour to
consider of a fit & proper person to be High Constable of
that Division in the place & Stead of Mr. Thomas Truman< no role >
And to retorn his Name & place of Residence as above.
