appearing nothing has been done by Virtue of that Order the
Committee are of opinion that the old Green Cloth in the Great
Dining Room will Serve for the Lesser Dining Room, and that it
would be more advisable to have that removed into the Lesser
Dining Room, and that a new one be purchased for the Great
Dining Room, And that it appears to the Committee that a
Fender should be bought for the Great Dining Room there
never having been one peculiarly appropriated to that Room
And that there wants a new Shovel, and that the poker & tongs
want mending, That the curtains Should be cleaned, the Pullies
mended, and the Umbrellas repaired, And that it further
appeared to the Comittee that the present Housekeeper is charged
with two keys as belonging to this Room, the Inventory being
taken before his time, he never had but one delivered to him,
And that Since the taking of the Said Inventory two new
Skreens have been purchased for the Said Great Dining Room
by Order of the Sessions, and that the Said two Skreens ought now
to be added to the Inventory, and that the present Housekeeper
ought to be accountable for the Same That in the Lesser
Dining Room most of the chairs Should be mended, Also the
poker and tongs, And that in the Clerk of the Peace's Room a new
Shovel and Poker are wanting, and the tongs to be mended
And that In the Court the Velvet cushion in the chair wants an
entire new covering, And that it is necessary the Velvet
cushion on the Desk Should be mended, And that the Leather
Bucketts at present will hold no water, If therefore necessary the
Sessions Should be at the charge to have any belonging to the
Said House and if they are thought to be of use the present ones
must be repaired or new ones bought as this Court Should think
proper, And that the Green Cloth in the Court very bad, and in
the opinion of the Committee a new one Should be purchased
That in the Grand Jury Room the chairs very bad, A new poker
Shovel & tongs wanting, and the grate to be mended, That in
the Kitchen tongs and poker want mending, Jack necessary to be
repaired & cleaned, which to avoid frequent expence the
Committee Submitt whether it would not be better to purchase
Case for the Said Jack, And that the Housekeeper having paid
for two new lines to the Said Jack It is the opinion of the
Committee he ought to be reimbursed the Said charge, And that
new Stoves to the grate are also wanting That a pair of Steps
belonging to the Said House are very much broke, and not
worth mending, But being necessary a new pair the Committee
are of opinion Should be purchased And that it appears to
the Committee that on a Sudden hasty shower of rain the
