Greater quantitys of Gun powder are kept in any house Storehouse
Warehouse Shop cellar or other place or in any houses Storehouses
warehouses Shops cellars or other places that by Law ought
to be kept, and by whom, and to issue forth Such Precepts &
directions to the Said high Constable Petty Constables and
Headboroughs touching the premisses as Shall in this
behalf be proper to be issued forth And by legal means &
methods to put the Law in execution against Such person
or persons as Shall appear to them to offend in the premisses,
And to prevent the like [..] dangers by Gunpowder
for the future, And to make a Report of their proceedings
touching the matters aforesaid unto the Court of the next
General Quarter Sessions of the peace for the Said County.

Liberty}

Whereas John Linton< no role > Gent high Constable of the Liberty of the
Tower in the County of Middx was by an Order made in December
Sessions last required to attend the Court of the then next General
Quarter Session of the peace holden for the Said County on the
eleventh day of January now last past to Show cause why he
Should not forthwith render an account of the moneys assessed
by an Order & a Rate made at the General Quarter Sessions of the
peace holden for the Said County in the Month of April last upon
the Several places within the Said Liberty in the County aforesaid by
vertue of the late Act of Parliament for the more easy assessing
collecting and levying of County Rates, and whether he had received
the Same Or any and what part thereof, Or why he neglected or
refused to demand and levy the Same as by the Said Act of
Parliament he was empowdered to do, And the Said John
Linton not attending the Said Court to Show Such cause as
aforesaid It was Ordered by the Said Court on the Said eleventh
day of January aforesaid that a Bench Warrant Should be
granted in order to apprehend the Said John Linton< no role > to answer
for his contempt in not attending the Court pursuant to the Said
Order, the Signing of which warrant was adjorned by the Said
Court until this present Thursday the twenty fifth day of
February instant being the County day of this present Sessions,
Now upon hearing of Adam Williamson< no role > Esqr . Robert Paul< no role > Esqr.
Richard Richards< no role > Esqrs . & Several other Justices of the peace for the
said Liberty of the Tower concerning the Said matter
