the Clerk of the Peace for fees the Sum of Twenty Pounds ten
Shillings and eight Pence, And it appearingbeing admitted
by. Mr John Chilton< no role > one of the Executors of the said Peter Cres< no role > -
-well and likewise to be deducted out of the said Sum of mo-
-ney that was due to the Estate of the said Peter Creswell< no role > and
for Beatles Handcuffs & Keys that were missing at Bride-
-well and to be made good by the said Peter Creswell< no role > to this
County as by the said Peter Creswells< no role > Bond he undertook to
do the Committee are of Opinion if twenty Shillings is paid
by the Executors of the said Peter Creswell< no role > for the same it is as
much as the same were worth in Consideration of the wear
& use that had been made of them, which two Sums amount
unto Twenty one Pounds ten Shillings and eight Pence which
will reduce the said Sum of Ninety nine Pounds thirteen Shillings
and five pence to seventy eight Pounds two Shillings & nine
Pence, And that the Committee were informed that the said Pe-
-ter Creswell< no role > had not reced any Fine or Fines sett or assessed
by the said Court of Sessions, And that the Committee having peru-
-sed the Accounts & inspected the Vagrant Passes & the Receipts
for the said Vagrants passed by Walter Brett< no role > Keeper of the House
of Correction at Tothill fields from the said fourth Day of No-
-vember last to the thirtieth Day of Aprill following, which
Account amounted unto the Sum of forty one Pounds Sixteen
Shillings and two Pence, which the Committee has reduced
to the Sum of Twenty two Pounds one Shilling and two
Pence, All which the said Committees humbly submitted Etc
Now upon reading the said Report This Count doth ratify
and confirm the same And doth order that the said Sum of
Twenty Pounds ten Shillings and eight pence due from the
said Peter Creswell< no role > for Fees by him reced for the Use of the said
Clerk of the Peace as aforesaid be paid by Mr John Higgs< no role > Trea-
-surer of this County to the said Clerk of the Peace or to his De-
-puty for his Use in Satisfaction of the said Moneys due to the
Clerk of the Peace from the said Peter Creswell< no role > , And also lay
out the said Sum of Twenty Shillings for new Beatles Hand-
-cuffs & Keys instead of those which were missing which are to
be delivered to the present Keeper of the House of Correction at
Clerkenwell as part of the goods belonging to this County which
two Sums of Twenty Pounds ten Shillings and right Pence
and Twenty Shillings amounting together to Twenty one Pounds
ten Shillings and eight Pence are to be reckoned in part of
Payment
