a Brick Wharf from the abutment at the corner Sixty
foot forward along the River Brent and make good the
Foundation Front of his Houses and all other damages
which he might receive or should be occasioned by taking
down the Foundation Front of his houses and pay the rent
of two of the houses at the rate of eighteen pounds a year
from Christmas last past till the Bridge is finished, Non
upon reading the said proposall & agreement purporting
to be under the hand of the Said William Butler< no role > the
Substance whereof is to the effect above Specifyed This
Court upon consideration had of the premisses Doth
Order that on the said William Butler< no role > 's permitting the
workman to take down So much of the Foundation
Front of his Said three houses adjourning to the Said Bridge
as they Shall Judge necessary and to carry uponthe
Foundation of the Abutment of the Said Bridge fourteen
inches within his Foundation front in order to make the
Parapet of the Bridge range with the front of his houses
That then a Brick wharfe Shall be carryed on at the
expence of this County from the Abutment at the corner
Sixty foot forward along the River Brent for the Security
of the Said Bridge and Support of the ground of him the
Said William Butler< no role > , and that the Foundation Front
of his Said houses and all other damages which he
may receive or Shall be occasioned by taking down the
Foundation front of his Said houses Shall be made good
at the expence of the Said County, And that the rent of two
of the houses at the rate of eighteen pounds a year
from Christmas last past untill the Said Bridge is
finished Shall be paid at the charge of this County,
And It is further Ordered that the thanks of this Court
be and they are hereby given to the Said Mr. Clitherow< no role >
for his great care & Services done to the Publick in
forwarding the rebuilding of the Said Bridge.
