new laid, and Several other necessary repaires done, And
that they having reced the Workmens bills employed
in doing Such repaires the Said three Justices of the peace
went to the Said prison and compared the bills with the
work charged for, so far as the Same could appear, And
that they examined the workmen on Oath touching
the truth of their Said bills, And that they are of opinion
that there is reasonably due for the Said repaires the
respective Sums following, namely,

out of the money raised & by him reced by vertue of the
County Rate made in December Sessions 1739 pay unto
the Said Richard Jupp< no role >
the Sum of thirty nine pounds
remaining due to him upon his Said bill after a
deduction of the Said Sum of twenty pounds to him
paid by the Said Mr. Higgs as aforesaid, And that the Said
Mr. Higgs do also pay unto the Said Joseph Jackson< no role >

Sum of twenty pounds and ten Shillings remaining
