wholly taken Off and new made & covered, the tileing of the
Workhouse and the Lodge ript & new laid, the Shed at the
entrance of the prison (which was fallen down) new
made, a new brick wall erected in the place of an old
decayed timber Fence between the Governor's house< no role > of
& the Workroom, all the leaden gutters taken up, and
new laid, and Several other necessary repaires done, And
that they having reced the Workmens bills employed
in doing Such repaires the Said three Justices of the peace
went to the Said prison and compared the bills with the
work charged for, so far as the Same could appear, And
that they examined the workmen on Oath touching
the truth of their Said bills, And that they are of opinion
that there is reasonably due for the Said repaires the
respective Sums following, namely,

To Richard Jupp< no role > Carpenter in Full of his bill

And that the Said three Justices also find that Mr. Higgs the
Treasurer for the County hath paid pursuant to an Order of
Sessions twenty pounds to the Said Richard Jupp< no role > and forty
pounds to the Said Joseph Jackson< no role > upon account, And that
Some blocks & beetles are wanting, This Court upon
reading the Said Report doth agree thereto, And doth
ratify & confirm the Same, And doth Order that Mr.
John Higgs< no role > Treasurer for the Said County of Middx do
out of the money raised & by him reced by vertue of the
County Rate made in December Sessions 1739 pay unto
the Said Richard Jupp< no role > the Sum of thirty nine pounds
remaining due to him upon his Said bill after a
deduction of the Said Sum of twenty pounds to him
paid by the Said Mr. Higgs as aforesaid, And that the Said
Mr. Higgs do also pay unto the Said Joseph Jackson< no role > the
Sum of twenty pounds and ten Shillings remaining
