Order for Mr.John Higgs< no role > the County Treasurer to
pay several Sums of
money to Daniel
Mackfun late Petty
Constable of Kensington
& others for the passing
& releiving of Vagrants}

Upon reading the Report of St. Edward Hill< no role > Knt . Knt .Thomas
Lane & Nicholas Jeffreys< no role > Esquires being a Quorum of the
Committee of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the peace of this County
appointed by an order made in October Sessions 1739 to
peruse & inspect the Certificates of allowances made to present
& late Constables of several parishes & places in this County
for their trouble & expences in the passing and releiving of
Vagrants, and to See what was due to each person respectively,
It appeareth to this Court by the said Report that the several
sums hereunder mentioned are due to the several persons
hereunder named for the passing & releiving of Vagrants
(to wit)

Daniel Mackfun< no role > Petty Constable of the parish
of Kensington } £4..16s..0d

Robert Pilkinton< no role > Petty Constable of the Same parish£1..15s..0d
James Ingall< no role > Petty Constable of the Same Parish£3..3s..0d
Robert Chester< no role > Petty Constable of the Same Parish£0..9s...0d
Elias Hirons Petty Constable of the Same Parish£0..9s..0d

Daniel Kemp< no role > a late high Constable which he hath
paid to petty Constables for the passing of Vagrants-} £2..10s..0d

which Sums together do amount to the Sum of thirteen
pounds and two Shillings, And the Said Persons praying to be
paid the Said Sums of money respectively due to them, It is
Ordered by this Court that John Higgs< no role > Gent Treasurer of this
County do pay unto the said persons respectively the respective
Sums of money above mentioned respectively due to them,
in full of their respective demands for the passing & releiving
of Vagrants, and that their receipts together with this Order
shall be Sufficient discharges to the said Treasurer for such
payments.

Upon the humble petition of Joseph Wedgborough high
Constable of Kensington Division within the Hundred of Ossulston in
this County exhibited unto this Court setting forth That
the Petr. hath served the said Office of high Constable for five
years & upwards, And that he hath accounted with the
Treasurer of the said County for all publick moneys And
the Petr. praying this Court to discharge him from the said
Office,This Court being satisfyed of the truth of the premisses
Doth appoint John Swaine< no role > of Hamersmith within the said
Division in the said Hundred in this County Gent to be high
Constable of Kensington Division aforesaid in the Stead and
