be a convenient season for the effectual repaire thereof to
which Sum the further Sum of five pounds was by an
Order made in December Sessions then next Ordered to
be added & allowed to do Such necessary repaires, which
were not to exceed fourty five pounds in the whole, And It
not appearing to this court what progress hath been
made in doing Such necessary repaires either to
Brentford Bridge or Chertsea Bridge , or if any and what
Sum of Money is due to workmen respectively for doing
any repaires to the said Bridges or either of them It is
hereby recomended & referred unto the Said Committee to
inquire into the Said matters, And to Setforth and include
an account thereof in their Report above mentioned.

Order to print in Several
of the publick News
papers a Notice of the
meeting of the Comittee
to consider of the demands
of Constables for the passing
& releiving of Vagrants,
and for Mr. Higgs the
Treasurer to defray, and
be reimbursed & allowed
the charge thereof}

Where as by an Order made in October Sessions 1739 It was
recomended & referred unto the Committee of Justices of the
peace for this County therein named to peruse & inspect the
Certificates of allowances made to present & late Constables
of several parishes & places in the said County for their
trouble & expences in the passing & releiving of Vagrants,
and to see what expence in the Passing & releiving
is due to each person respectively, Now to the intent that
it may appear what is due to each person respectively for
his trouble & expences in the passing & releiving of Vagrants
It is Ordered by this Court that the said Committee be desired to
meet at Hicks hall on Thursday the eighth day of May 1740
at Nine of the clock in forenoon to consider of the Several
demands which any Constables or others have on account
of moneys which on they claym to be due to them for the
passing & releiving of Vagrants, And the said Constables
or others are then & there to produce an account thereof
respectively in writing together with the Certificates of
allowances & other vouchers before the said Committee,
And that Notice thereof be printed in Several publick News
papers, And that Mr. Higgs the Treasurer do defray the
charge thereof, and be reimbursed & allowed the same
upon his account.
