Room adjoyning thereto to be white washed.
The Stair case leading up to the Said Dining Rooms to be white
washed.
The Tiling over the roof of Hicks hall
to be mended where
defective.
The Offices in the Court yard to be mended where defective,
The Gutters to be cleansed
The lead to be mended where defective
The Pavement of the Area to be new laid So as to carry off the
water, which by the late House keeper's alteration is thrown
into the Offices of the Clerks of the Indictments.
And whereas by an Order made in January Sessions last upon
reading the Said Report, So much of the Same Report as did
relate to the painting, white washing, and doing the repairs
above mentioned was ratifyed & confirmed, And It was by the
Same Order recomended & referred unto the Said Committee
named in the Said former Order made in December Sessions
last or any three or more of them to treat with Some able
Workman or Workmen touching the painting, white washing,
and doing the repairs above mentioned, And to take an
estimate of what the expence thereof would amount unto
in each Sort of work respectively, And to take a Contract from
Such workman or workmen for the Said painting, white
washing and doing the Said repairs in a Sufficient and
Substantial manner within a limited time, and for a
reasonable Sum to be in that behalf expressed & agreed upon
for each Sort of work respectively, And Whereas the Said

last made their Report unto this Court at this present General Quarter Sessions Whereby they Certify unto this Court That pursuant to the
Said Order made in January Sessions last they assembled & met
together at Hicks hall
about doing the Said repairs, And that
Several Workmen produced their estimates before them, and
respectively Signed a Contract for doing the work in each
Workman's way of busyness amounting in the whole to ten
pounds & eight Shillings as follows, to wit.
