said County And It is further Ordered by this Court that the
said John Higgs< no role > shall be allowed and be at Liberty to retaine
out of the said moneys to be by him received for his trouble &
paines in and about the execucon of the sd. Office of General
Treasurer the certain Yearly Salary of twenty five pounds and the
further Sume of one Shilling for every pound to be by him yearly
received dureing the continuance of his said Office of General
Treasurer over and above the Sume of five hundred pounds &
not exceeding three hundred pounds more It being intended
that if the moneys to be by him received as General Treasurer
in any one Year doe exceed the Sume of eight hundred pounds
the Yearly Salary to be allowed to the said John Higgs< no role > for his
trouble and paines in and about the executon of his said Office
shall not in such year exceed the Sume of forty pounds, And
the said Joh Higgs< no role > is to give Security by Bond in the penal
Sume of five hundred pounds unto Thomas Abney< no role > John
Milner and William Cowper< no role > Esqrs . three of his Maties Justices
of the peace for this County with Condition for his payment &
disposall of the moneys to be by him received as the Court of
General Quarter or General Sessions of the peace for this County
Shall appoints and for his delivering an account or accounts
annually or oftneroftner for such moneys as he shall so
receive and of his payments thereout, and for his entring his
Account or Accounts after the same be audited in a book or
books to be left with & kept by the Clerk of the peace for the
use of the Justices of the peace of this County as aforesaid.

Order touching the
electing of a New high
Constable of Finsbury
Divisions the room of
Mr. Richard Weston< no role > .}

Whereas Richard Weston< no role > Gentl was appointed high Constable
of Finsbury Division within the Hundred of Ossulston in this
County in Easter Sessions one thousand seven hundred and
twenty eight, And it being contrary to the tenor of an Order
made in January sessions one thousand seven hundred &
eighteen that any high Constable in this County should
continue in his Office above the Space of three yeares, It is
therefore Ordered by this Court that it be And It is hereby
recomended unto his Maties Justices of the peace for this
County inhabiting within Finsbury Division aforesaid to
assemble & meet together at [..] Colchesters Coffeehouse in Red
Lyon Street Clerkenwell on Thursday the twenty fourth day
of June instant at four of the clock in the afternoon to
consider of a fit person or persons to be reformed for high
