Sessions, and that he did not apprehend he had done
anything contrary to Law,

Upon which Letter the Committee and also the Court of
Generall Sessions of the peace Submitt to your Lordship
the following Observacons,

1

That the Excuses for his non appearance are upon the
face of them frivolus and trifling,

2

That he does not Soe much as pretend to Say he took any
Security whatsoever for the appearance of Robert Jennison< no role >
at the time he wrote the above menconed irregular
discharge of him out of custody, and it was certainly
taken long after, if any has been taken at all,

3

Which last particular is the more Suspicious, because
altho' the Clerk of the peace disired him by Order of the
Committee to give an account what Bail he had taken,
he has in his answer to it Slightly Said only that he had
taken £100. Bail, But in what manner and whether
Robert Jennisons< no role > owne Recognizance only or other
Suretys, and if so, who, and what they are, is not Said,

4

Nor doth it appeare that he hath bound over any person
whatsoever to prosecute the Said Robert Jennison< no role > for
Soe great an Offence, as in duty as well as discretion
he ought to have done,

This Court takeing the Said Report into their Consideration
and having heard the Said Francis Jennison< no role > thereupon
in his defence are unanimously of opinion that the
Charge remains fully proved and fixed upon him But
Submitt the whole matter to your Lordships great Wisdome
and Justice,

This Representacon was Signed by the Justices
who Signed the Representacon concerning Street
robberys, and alsoe by Robert Tothill< no role > Robert
Midford
< no role > Valentine Hilder< no role > and Thomas
Milner
< no role > Esqrs.
