Bent Gentleman in the Court of Common Pleas at
Westminster against the Inhabitants of the said
Hundred for the said Sume on Account of a
Robbery comitted upon him within the said
Hundred and alsoe to have Money in hand on
Account of another Robbery mentioned in the
said Order And It was by the said Order directed
that the Moneys to be Collected and levyed upon
the said Rate should be paid to the said Justices
of the Peace or one of them to be disposed
of according to the intent and meaning of the
Statute in such Case made and provided
But it was in the said Order mentioned that
the said Justices of the Peace after their
reimburseing and paying to the said Daniell
Waite the Moneys levyed on him as aforesaid,
and to Mr. John Rolfe< no role > Attorney at Law his bill
of Costs amounting to one pound fifteen shillings
and eight pence for defence of the Suit in
which the said Judgement was obtained by
the said Robert Bent< no role > as aforesaid and other
incident Charges for Orders and Warrants and
delivering the same to raise the Moneys
aforesaid (which the said Justices of the Peace
were thereby directed to pay) were desired to
take the direction of the Court of Generall
or Quarter Sessions of the Peace for this County
before they disposed of the residue of the Moneys
which was to be paid to them the said Justices
as aforesaid or any part thereof, Now upon
hearing of what was alledged by the said Mr.
Fuller informing this Court that a Rate was
made by him and the said Mr. Cotesworth in
pursuance of the said Order, And that He the
