It is Ordered by this Court that Thomas Jones< no role > Gentl
Teasurer of the Moneys raised and collected within the
Hundreds of Ossulston Edmonton Gore in this County
for the passing of Vagrants Doe thereout pay unto
Thomas Martin< no role > one of the petty Constables of Southmims
in this County the Sume of ten pounds in satisfaction
of the Allowance made him for his trouble and expences
in passing and releiving of Vagrants for one quarter
of a Year ending at midsumer last, whose receipt
together with this Order shall be a Sufficient discharge
to the said Thomas Jones< no role > for such payment.

Report of the Comitee
concerning their having
contracted with Workmen
touching the repair of
such part of Chertsea
Bridge as is in middx
Etc}

Wee whose names are hereunto subscribed being of
the Committee of his Maties Justices of the peace for
this County authorised by an order made in May
Sessions last to treat with and contract with Workmen
for repaire of such part of a publique Bridge called
Chertsea Bridge as is in this County, the same being
very ruinous and a considerable part thereof being broken
downe by the rottenness of the piles which supported
the same, Soe that an immediate rebuilding of such
part of the said Bridge as in this County is absolutely
necessary, Doe hereby Certify to the Court of Generall.
Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for this County
That Wee have severall times assembled and mett
together in relation to the premisses, and received
the proposalls of severall Workmen touching the
rebuilding of the aforesaid part of the said Bridge,
And have with great care and deliberation considered
what timber planks and other materialls were
proper to be provided and used and what Workmanship
is proper to be performed in the rebuilding thereof
And to the intent that the same may be substantially
and perfectly rebuilt with good and sound taken Timber,
piles, planks and all other materialls Wee have taken
