peace for this County to be assembled in Sessions And
Whereas the Said John Fuller< no role > Simon Michell< no role > and Thomas
Pindar
< no role > Esqrs. have Certifyed unto this Court at this present
Sessions that they have proceeded to Consider of the matters
aforesaid And do find that by an Order of Sessions made the
Twenty ninth day of August one Thousand Seven hundred
and Twenty three, It was referred to Severall Justices
therein named to give Direccons for the Speedy and
effectuall repair of New prison and to Superintend Such
repair, and report the Expence thereof, and that Such
Expence Should be paid by the Said John Geary< no role > and be
allowed to him out of the yearly Sume of Twenty
pounds P Ann payable by him as Keeper of the Said
prison, And that if the Said John Geary< no role > Dyed before he
was by that means reimbursed Such his Expences
that then the Same Should be made good to his
Executors as the Justices of the peace for this County
Should Direct, And that they also find by a Report
made unto the Court the fourth day of December One
Thousand Seven hundred and Twenty Three by Robert
Thornhill John Fuller< no role > and William Cotesworth< no role > Esqrs.
three of the Justices to whom the Care of the Said repaires
was referred that the Charges of such Repairs Amounted
to Fourty Two pounds five Shillings and Six pence,
And that the Said John Geary< no role > had paid the Said
Forty two pounds five Shillings and Six pence, which
Exceeded what remained in his hands of the Said
Yearly Sume of Twenty pounds then due (being onely
ten pounds Eight Shillings and Two pence) by the Sume
of Thirty One pounds Seventeen Shillings and four
pence, And that they do also find that after makeing
the Said report there was paid by the Said John Geary< no role >
at Severall times for repaires of the Said prison the
Severall Sumes Following (Vizt.) for paviours work
