petitioner by Order of the high Constable of Endfeild hath at
his own Cost and Charges conveyed several Vagrants and still
doth keep a Horse for that purpose and can perform that service
cheaper than the same is now done, And that the petitioner is
desireous and willing to maintain the great charge of his Family
by his labour and diligence and verily believes he might have
succeed the said John Hewett< no role > had he not relyed on the said
Mackeris promise of solliciting for him, And the petitioner
therefore humbly prayesd the direction of this [..] Court
and that the said Mackeris may be debarred from acting,
And that the petitioner may be appointed by this Court to
pass the said Vagrants, Whereupon it is Ordered by this Court
that the consideration of the matters contained in the said
petition be adjourned untill the County day in the next Generall
Sessions of the peace to be holden for this County (to witt) Thursday
the ninth day of December next at three of the Clock in the
Afternoon, And that the petitioner and the said Henry Mackeris< no role >
do then attend the Court of the same Sessions touching the
premises, And a coppy of this Order is in the mean time to be
serve & upon the said Henry Mackeris< no role > ,

P Adjorn Jovis 14 o. die Octobris 1725

It is Ordered by this Court that a Case relating to the Taxes upon
Windows and the opinion of his Maties Attorney Generall thereupon
now produced before this Court be received and lodged with the
Clerk of the peace of this County to the intent that the Justices of
the peace of this County may have recourse to and inspect the
same for their Government therein.

In the Act 7 o. & 8 o. Wills for granting the Old Duties uponon
Houses, there are the following Clauses, Vizt.

[..] te that by a Subseqt.
[..] t this Duty is made
[..] rpetl.}

And be it Enacted by the Kings's most Excellent Majesty by
and with the Advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
and Commons in this present Parliament assembled, and by the
Authority of the same, That from and after the 25th day of March
in the year of our Lord 1696, for and during the term of seven Years
to Commence and be Accounted from the said 25th day of March
and no longer there shall be Charged Raised Levyed and paid unto
his Majesty< no role > his Heirs and Successors for and upon the Dwelling at
Houses Inhabited that now are or hereafter shall be Erected within
