No. 3

The Comittee proceeded in the next place to Examine
& Settle the Accts. of the Treasurers for Mained Soldiers &
Mariners, wherein it is necessary to Observe that this
Rate has been Constantly Levyed for many Years past and
two Treasurers yearly appointed, who have always been
Chosen out of the Justices, One for the Hundreds of
Ossulston Edmonton & Gore , the other for the Hundreds of
Elthorne Spelthorne & Isleworth . That the Quota of
Ossulston Edmonton & Gore to this rate is £87.2s.0d and of
Elthorne Spelthorne & Isleworth £42.10s.4d In all
£129.2s.4d. on the whole County and being informed by
Sr. Isaac Tilliard< no role > Treasurer in 1721 of Ossulston
Edmonton & Gore , that the Arrears in his Year and
the Years proceeding were very inconsiderable and
Desperate. Wee only examined the Accot. of Sr. Daniel
Dolyns Treasurer for 1722. wch. Accot. is annexed.
And thereby it appears that there remained in his hands
on the Ballance £436.19s.10d. & £11.5s.4d. only Standing
out as an Arrear in the hands of or uncollected by John
Jones
< no role > High Constable of Kensington Division, Besides
£466.4s.4d. borrowed from this rate and applyed to diverse
uses mentioned in Nine severall Orders of Sessions.
We are informed by Sr. Daniel Dolyns< no role > , that all this
Ballance has been paid over by him to the Repairs of
Hicks hall & to Sr. John Gonson< no role > Treasurer For 1723.
But the Order of Reference requireing us only to direct
all Moneys in any Accountants hands to be paid to Sir
Daniel, We did not proceed in taking any Accot. of the
disposall of any part thereof by him, but leave him
accotable: for the said Ballance & the Disposal thereof in
such manner as shall be directed by future Orders.
