made and fitted up at the right hand of the Gateway entring in at
the Great Gates of the Court Yard belonging to the said Sessions
House, the expence of which will amount to about £10: which
being added to the said Sume of £665:17s:6d: will amount in
the whole to the sume of £675:17s:6d: And the said John
Hallum and George Sampson< no role > have informed your Committee
that the allowance for the Old Materialls will reduce the said
Sume of £675:17s:6d: to the Sume of £610:

And Lastly your Committee crave leave to Inform the Court
that this Work or Service may be performed at severall times
within the Intervalls of the Sessions without any obstruction [..]
publique Business or Chooseing any other place for holding the
Sessions, All which Wee Submitt to the Judgment of this Court

for this County (to whom it was by Order made at the last General
Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for this County by adjournment
on the eighteenth day of January last (inter al) referred to treat
with able and experienced Workmen touching the repaireing of the
Sessions house of this County called Hicks hall in St. John Street in the
said County and Offices thereto belonging, and the altering and
enlargeing the Court, and makeing additionall buildings to the said
house in a convenient Substantiall and Workmanlike manner
And to receive the proposealls of the said Workmen for the doeing
thereof, and for what Sume of Money they would undertake and
agree to do the same, And to lay such proposealls before his Maties
Justices of the peace at this present Generall Sessions for their further
direction touching the premises) It appeareth by the said Report
that the said Committee of Justices have proceeded to treat with able
and experienced Workmen touching the repaireing of the said
Sessions house and Offices thereto belonging, and the altering and
enlargeing the Court, and makeing additionall Buildings to the
said house in a convenient substantiall and Workmanlike manner
