Wee whose Names are hereunto subscribed Justices of the peace
for the County of Middx named in the Order of Sessions hereunto
annexed Do hereby Certify to his Majestys Justices of the peace
for the said County in their Generall Sessions Assembled That
Wee have in pursuance of the said Order proceeded to treat with
able and experienced Workmen touching the Repairing of the
Sessions House called Hicks hall in St. John Street in this County
and offices thereto belonging, and the altering and enlargeing
the Court, and makeing additionall Buildings to the said House
in a convenient Substantialll and Workmanlike manner, And
to receive the proposealls of such Workman for the doeing thereof,
and for what Sumes of Money they will undertake and agree to
do the same, And that Mr John Hallam< no role > and Mr George Sampson< no role >
persons experienced in Building and who by our direction were
employed to take a view of the premises and see what was
necessary to be done relateing thereunto according to the Intent
of the said Order, have attended us, and produced before us the
proposealls of severall Workmen herein after mentioned, and
affirm to us that they have discoursed such Workmen thereupon,
and that the prices therein mentioned are according to the best
of their Judgment reasonable, the totall of the Sume mentioned
in each proposeall being as foll (Vizt.)

And the said Workmen are willing to enter into Articles for the
performing of the said Work in a Workmanlike and substantiall
manner for the prices above mentioned, And that in Case any
dispute or difference shall arise about the goodness of the
Workmanship or Materialls or any other difference happen
relateing to the Contracts with the said Workmen in relation
to the premises That then the said Workmen will submit the
Matter in dispute to two such indifferent persons as the Court of
Sessions of the peace for this County shall in that behalfe
Nominate and Appoint.

Your Committee take this opportunity to Inform the Court
That there are wanting some Alterations to be made in the Office
of the Clerks of the Indictments and a New Bayle dock to be
