Order for preventing
the weareing of
white roses on the
Anniversary of the
prtenders birthday

Upon information given unto this Court that great Numbers
of seditions persons Who are disaffected to his present Matie.
King George & his Governmt. did on the tenth day of
June last past (being the anniversary of the prtenders
birth day) weare white roses to demonstrate their
afeccon to the pretender & their disaffeccon to this prsent
Matie; by meanes whereof severall riots, rants & affrays
then happened to the great disturbance of his maties. peace
& danger of his maties. liege subjects inhabiting within the
weekly Bills of mortality in this County, And this Court
being apprehensive that the life seditions practice
may be attempted by a great many evil disposed
persons on the tenth day of June instant Doth for
prevencon thereof and for the preservaton of his
Maties. peace Order that it be And It is hereby
recomended unto his Maties. Justices of the peace for
this County inhabiting within the weekly Bills of
mortality to assemble & meet together in their respcive
Divisions on the tenth day of June instant at nine of
the clock in the forenoon at such convenient place
or places as they shall appoint and to give such
Orders to the high & petty Constables Within their
respective Divisions for preventing the growth of the
like seditions practice & for the preservacon of his Maties.
peace, as the sd. Justices of peace shall think fit, And It
is further Ordered by this Court that the Cryer of this
Court or his Deputy doe give notice of this Order to
the sd. Justices of the peace and alsoe to the high
Constables within the sd. Division And that the Said
high Constables haveing notice of the places of the
Meeting of the sd. Justices of peace doe attend them
with their petty Constables on the sd. tenth day of
June instant at the hour aforesaid at such place
or places as the sd. Justices shall appoint to receive
their orders & direccons for prevencon of any riots
