to the addiconall allowance for Six Justices, and as to
the licences Sayd they belonged to Mr. Seymore as Cryer
and that they had nothing to doe with them, and as
to the repaires Charged Sayd Mr. Slapp upon his
admicon Agreed to doe their at his own Costs

The Sd John Slapp< no role > afterwards laid before the board
an accompt of the Goods following which he Sayd belonged
to him and Mrs. Seymore had not paid for (Vizt.)

The Justices upon this Demand declared that they were
of opinion the Sd. Pump belonged to the County, and in
Satisfaccon of the residue of the Sd Goods Ordered that
the sd. John Slapp< no role > Should be allowed forty Shillings
out of the moneys due from him to the County on the
ballance of his Sd. accompt

The sd. John Slapp< no role > afterwards insisted that he had
attended the signing & witnessing of Severall Warrants
directed to the High Constables of the Hundred of
Ossulton for levying Severall considerable Sums of
money on accompt of Severall Roberys Comitted within
the Sd. Hundred, and alsoe many of the Petty Constables
to hasten the collecting & getting in of the sd Money &
that he deserved for his pains & expences therein the
Sum of £8.0s.0d

This Demand the Justices rejected Saying they were
not impowred to make him Such allowance
