Court low Lane West Smithfield in the City of London
Widow Mary the Wife of Theodars Bolton of the same Place
Bird Cage maker , Elizabeth the Wife of John Evans< no role > of the same Place
Labourer Josiah Alexander< no role > Court able
of lock Court Snow Hill in the said City Constable and
Elizabeth Lee< no role > of low Lane in the said City Singlewoman
who being upon Oath severally say a first thatDeponentInformant
Mary Davis< no role > for herself saith that the Prisoner Wm.
Wallen lodges in the same House with her that she
light or the Prisoner up Stairs the Monday Hight last
to his Bed Room that he knocked out the Candle
& threw her upon the Bed & attempted to lay with
her agst. her Consent that she stragy had & cryed
out Murder & he coud not effect his purpose on
the Bed, that he then threw her on the Floor putted
her Petticoats over her Head & put the Bed Cloaths
upon her & had cannot Knowledge of her Body
by force & Violence that as soon as she could
disengage herself from him she can down into the
Court & called the Watchman Josiah Alexander< no role >
& informed the other Informants Mary Bolton< no role > &
& Elizth. Evans< no role > her opposite Neighbours who had been
alarmed by her Outeries with the Assaultthat twomade
upon her by the Prisoner And this Informant
Josiah Alexander< no role > says as he went his Rounds
Mary Davis< no role > was in the Court & told him that
the Man who lodged in the Garratt had forced
her against her Will and Consent
