Crossley on the Business of the said intended Trial
and to prevent the said John Snelling< no role > from
Appearing And that [..] in case he went he [..] shold
not be surprized if he never saw the said John
Snelling any more [..] And this deponent
further saith That the said John Snelling< no role >
then promised this deponent not to go and
that he wou'd call on this Deponent in the
Evening but not calling this Deponent
went last night between nine and
then o'Clock to his Lodginson three Crown
Court in the Borough and was informed that
he was not returned home And this
Deponent called thew this shorming
before Eight o Clock and was informed that he had not been
at Home all might and very believes that
he hath by Violence or some gross [..]
Imposition been kept out of the Way by the
said George Crossley< no role > his Friends or associates
to present his Appearing against
him on his said Trial but where this
Deponent hath not the East sale a
or Information
