Richard Morris< no role > a lodger at the Helmet Alehouse in Holden
maketh oath that last night Dept was in the Hebert said Alehouse,
wherein also were the deced and Robert Jones< no role > who quarrelled together,
and as Dept understood touching an those Cloth which the deced accused
Jones with having slotea from him, who denied it; and the deced assisted
on fighting, and they both stripped, and afterwards, Jones sayed
rather not fight, but the deced sayed he would see which was the best man
and they both went out; and the Jones shook the deced by the Load and
repressed a great unwillingness to fight, but the deced insisted to field,
and they accordingly fought together, and many blows aper and fall
received by both of them; at length after a fall in consequence of a Kow
from Jones he deced was taken into the Alehouse where he appeared to
be very ill, and was afterwards taken from thence in a Coach

Samuel Price< no role > before named further maketh Oath that
to this Dept yesterday moon witt Mr. Elliott thirty opened the body
of the deced & on the left side of the deced formed near a pint of blood
which certainly proceeded from Rupture of some wood [..]
but Dept does not apprehend such extrasasated Blood could have occasion the
deceds death, either did he penewe at the he remaind the Hard and
body of the deced very Cowpill any violence or injury likely to Lane
occasion the deceds death. And Dept cannot take upon himself to say
what was the cause of the death of the deced.

Robert Harvey< no role > of little Warner street cold bath fields maketh
oath that last Friday week saw the deced ill & speechless in the Helmet
Alehouse Holborn, Lasing as Dept was informed been fighting says he
assisted to put the deced in o'Clock and went in the Coach with him, supporting
him upright on the seal, [..]
[..] to the swan and keep alehouse at Moorgate
