Stockings a White Shirt a black Silk Handkerchief
which amounted to Sixteen Shillings and this Informant
had Seven Shillings in Money that they then went together
to a Public House in Nightingale Lane and Egan
told this Informant he would be at a Public House
in Bread Street on the Monday following where this Informant
was to receive the Wages and would be upon she look
out for him and told this Informant that he was to
receive Seven and twenty pounds-That on the Monday
following this Informant went to the Pay Office with
Moses and Harris and were Ordered to come again
the next day which they did [..] Harris having the
Probate & Certificate in his Pocket That upon this Informt
going into the Pay Room Harris gave him the Probate
which he delivered into the hands of the Door keeper who
gave, it into [..] of the Gentlemen in the Office That [..]
Informant heard some of the Gentlemen in the said Office
say that there was a Suspicious of Forgery and directed
this Informant to go to Mr. Dyson's in Great Marlborough
Street that he according by went to Mr. Knight's that
Morning and was examined by him conceiving the Will
and the same Evening this Informant saw Egan
and told him what had passed at the Pay Office & at Mr
Knights -That Egan seemed Angry at this Informants
going to Mr. Knight which gave this Informant
some Suspicion that he had done wrong & expressed him
fears to Egan that he should be taken into Custody
Egan thereupon assured him he was in no Danger &
desired him to get more Money from Moses if he
could This Informant say'd, It was of no use to apply
to him as he was certain he would advance no more
This Informant further says that as he was Watkins
down Saint Catherine with Egan they not Harris
That he desired this Informant to come home & they went
