The Examination of Thomas
Clark taken upon Oath the
Day of1786

Saith that he hath been Servant to James
Price about five Months last past, That soon after he this
Examinant came to live with the said price, Rogers, Morris,
Gould, Haslam, Flinn, Johnson's Porter of Priest Court,
Gallant, Humston, and Bowen a very stout broad backt Man
used to frequent this Examinant's Master's House and
often came Two or three at a Time, That Gallant, Flinn,
and Harlam often came together to this Examinant's said
Master's House, That he this Examinant has Seen the said Roger
several Times with Loads there, and the said Haslam in
Company with him, That he this Examinant has seen
Jones a tale stout Man, a few times at his said Master's
House. That Examinant never saw the said Rogers
and Haslam deliver any parcel one to the other. That
he this Examinant doth not Know why his (Examinants)
Master, forbed their coming to this House. That this
Examinant's said Master advised him (Examinant) this Morning to
tell the Truth concerning the above named Persons. That
Examinant has seen the said Roger bringing parcels
under his Arm into this Examinant's said Master's House
but did not see the said Haslam taking them out. That
he this Examinant has seen the said Morris at his (Examinant)
Master's House having with him the said Morris Long< no role > Lawn.
when the said Morris was out of Place as he hath been informed
and believes. That the said Morris and Rogers talked together
and said Gallant and Haslam were then in Company, and has seen
