His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for the
said County this 19th. day of October 1785
This Informant upon his Oath saith that on
Monday Evening the seventeenth day of October instant He was
in Company with one William Byrne< no role >
and two other Men whose
names are unknown to this Informant at the Crown and
Anchor Public House at the Corner of Chick Lane
Saffron
Hill
that about the hour of Eleven of the Clock this Informant
left the said Three Persons in order to go home to his
Lodging at the sign of the Golden Lyon
in West Smith field
that when this Informant came to near the Top of Chick
Lane he was Seized by three Men and Dragged into a
Court where they Threw him Down on his back and
Feloniously took from his Person Two Silver Watches and
Seven Guineas in Gold this Informants property this
Informant saith that he hath since been informed that the
place where he was dragged into as aforesaid is called by
the Name of Pheonix Court
and is in the Parish of St. Sepulchre
in the City of London
And this Informant further saith
that he is Certain that the said William Byrne< no role >
with whom he
was in Company as aforesaid was one of the [..] Three Persons
who Feloniously Robbed this Informant as aforesaid
