severally make Oath and say and first this
Deponent James Hayward< no role >
for himself saith that at the last September
Session a Bill of Indictment was preferred and found against him on their
Prosecution of the abovenamed William Sell< no role >
for receiving a Pewter Pot
Knowing the same to have been stolen as by the said Indictment
relation being thereunto had will appear To which said Indictment
this Deponent James Hayward< no role >
did at the said September Session appear
and plead and traversed the Trial thereof write this present Session
And these Deponents James Hayward< no role >
and John Lightfoot< no role >
for
themselves and each of them for himself say that they have made
repeated Inquires after one Thomas Ball< no role >
(whom this Deponent James
Hayward is informed and verily believes will he a very marterial
Witness on his Behalf at the Trial of this Indictment) at the
