Stranger to what was meant by his being bound over
to prosecute the said Jacob Daniel< no role > for such Felony
thinking he could not have been bound without
his own hand and seat when he was informed by
the said Mr. Morgan That he must have been bound
in a Recognizance And this Deponent further
Saith That had he known he was Obliged to attend
the said Sessions for the purpose aforesaid He this
Deponent would have taken care to have come
to Town for that purpose And this Deponent
lastly Saith That his not appearing at the said
Session to prosecute the said Jacob Daniel< no role > was owing
to Ignorance only and not out of any Contempt
to this Honourable Court nor through favor to the
Said Defendant but merely through the Cause
aforesaid And that he should have been glad to have
prosecuted the said Defendant to Conviction If
he had Rightly Understood how to have accomplished
it.
