say, And First the said
Edward Hooper< no role >
for himself saith,
that about one O Clock Yesterday, he was in his Office, and
his Clerk told him there was a Fellow going up Stairs
without his Shoes, upon which Informant went out of
the Office in order to go up Stairs, but he saw the Prisoner
now under Examination,

the Stairs, putting on his ShoesInformant instantly
collared him, and From a hint given by the other
Informant Hudson, the Prisoner was searched, and From
him
side Pocketthe Shirts and Neck Cloths now produced
were FoundSays the same
wereare the Property
of this Informant, and of the Value of twenty Shillings
and upwardsSays that the three handkerchiefs and
Pair of sleeve buttons also produced, are he believes
the Property of his Maid Servant
