Pawnbroker Who being on Oath serverally say And
First the said
Thomas Welch< no role >
for himself saith,
that he missed the Suit of Cloaths now produced out
of hiswhich were in a deal Cox, and suspecting the Prisoner Thomas
Turner to have stolen them, he charged him with
the Felony, and the Prisoners without any Promise
of Favour First made, confessed that he had taken
the Cloath Says, that the same are the Property
of him this Informant, and of the Value of thirty
Shillings and upwards And the said John
Cargill for himself saith, that he received the Cloaths
now Produced in Pledge from the Prisoner, and
advanced him thereon one Pound Fourteen Shillings
Says, that the Prisoner told him, the Money was
not for himself, but for me
