Eddey Lankeshier Sprinter Servant to Eleanora [..]
Goldney a Lodger in the deced.'s House< no role > maketh Oath and saith
that on Saturday last the 28th. of Decr. Dept. [..] after
returning from an Errand her Mistress had rent her upon
abt. the Hour of six in the Evening she saw her Mistress the
deced . Wife and Mary Ducrow< no role > standing together at the
Parlour Door on which Dept. asked them what was the matter
to which Depts. Mistress and the deced's Wife made answer
that the deced. and the Gentleman above stairs (meaning as
Dept. believes Daniel Mr. Genniss were at words with each
after touching some water which sd. Mr. Genniss had thereon
out of the Window says that at the same time the deced.
was coming down [..] stairs sd. Mr. Genniss said
something to the deced. which occasioned the deced. to return
when Dept. heard a Bustle and Words, Pass between them but Dept.
10d. not distinguish any of the words, [..] instantly after which Dept.
heard something fell down stairs, on which Dept. run up
Stairs some person following Dept. with a Light but Dept. house
not who, and Dept. saw the deced. lying against the Hitch him
Door, that Dept. held and hold of both the deced is Arms, who laid
held of Dept. says and there by raised. himself up, that them Dept.
asked him what was the matter but [..] deced. made no ansr.
but gave a struggle which the this Dept. down and the deced.
fell upon her: that the deced's Wife then said, Oh, my Husband
is wounded, that she then opened the deced. Waistcoat and tore
his Shirt down and Dept. then saw a Wound on the Left side of
the deced's. Breast that much Blood [..] issued [..] therefrom;
that the deced's Wife then took off his Apron and applied it to the
Wound during which time Dept. heard sd. Mr. Genniss cry [..]
out several times form the Window of the Apartmt. and
implored the [..] neighbour backward to connects his Assistance for
that the deced. was an undering him that sevl. of the neighbours
instantly came and went towards the kitchen Door where the
deced. Lay: Thaton< no role > seeing the deced. lay in manner aforesd. sevl. of
the sd. Persons said it was a stocking thing that Dept. Mistress
rang the Bill wanting Dept. [..] on which Dept. went to her and
[..] not.

Thomas Olliva< no role > of Smithfield Bars London Surgeon make
Oath and saith that on Saturday the 28th. of Decr. inst. Dept. was s [..]
for to the deced.'s Dewling House where Dept. immediatly [..]
and Dept. being conveyed forsd. the Kitchen he saw the deced. lying on
his Back [..] in the sd. Kitchen this appearing [..] Head asking uponhisthedeced's
Knees of a [..] person who Dept. apprehends was his Wife that on
examing the Body of the deced. Dept. disovered a Wound upon his
left side a little below his Breast through which Dept. passed his Probe
into the Cavily of the Thoraa abt. ion a four Inches: tha the Wound was
abt. three fourth parts of an Inch wide and a came to have benn given by
some her [..] and Dept. double notbut that the sd. Wound as
the immediatley Cause of the death of the deced.
