across the Brest and Law hold of him by the Hair of his Head
that severalotherPersons immediately came up and secured
him That Informant Lilley soon after the Prisoner was apprehended
came into Gutter Lane where this Informant and the Prisoner
then were and sayd that the Prisoner was the Man that had
stolen the Box whereupon he was taken to the Watch House
Michael Robinson< no role > of White Rose Alley Whitecross Street Patroll
in Gutter Lane Cheapside saith that at the time referred to by
the other Informants he was upon Duty in Wood Street and heard
Lilley and another cry out stop Thiefthat uponwhere upon
Informant saw a Young well made Man dressed in Black
ran into Cheapside that the Person Informant saw running
[..] to Gutter Lane whereupon Informant
asks him where was the Thief and seeing no Person before him
had Informant to suspect that he was the Thief himself
and therefore desired Welsh to stop him which he accordingly
