this 27th. April 1782

Informant Sarah Blackmoor< no role > Saith Yesterday Evening
between the hours of five and Six o Clock as she was coming
out of her Appartments at No. 1 in Cheeting House Yard aforesaid
She Saw the Prisoner Edward Abell< no role > in the Back Yards
belonging to the House Informant lives in and she observed
the Window of the Kitchen to be open which had been fastened
up for three Months She then went into the Kitchen and
found near the said Window a Blanket a Cloath Cloak a
Black Silk Bennett and [..] Stock [..] up together and
which Blanket she had [..] on a Chair [..] at the fire about
half an hour before [..] Cloak and Bonnett was hanging
up in the other [..] then,SheInformant Sent
for a Const [..] and sent
to the Compter [..] Fawcett Saith that last
night he was called [..] to Meeting House Yard to
Secure Prisoner [..] then & Saw the Prisoner
in the said Court & observed the Window of Mr Blackmans
Kitchen open and which Appeared to Informant to have
been found open, and the Mark of a Mans or boys foot
fruts made with the Dirt from his Shoe was on a Cloth in
the Window Seat, and near the Window lay the Several things
turn Old together as before mentioned by the other Informant
that he then Secured the Prisoner and took him to the
Compter
