having been tried
and convicted [..] at the Sessions
holden at the Old Bailey
in February
last of Burglary, and received Sentence
of Death for the same, and you having
by Certificate under your Hand humbly
recommended him to His Majesty< no role >
's
Royal Mercy on Condition of his being
imprisoned in the Gaol of Newgate for
the Term of two Years. His Majesty< no role >
has thereupon been graciously pleased to
extend His Royal Mercy to him on the
above Condition and has commanded me
to signify the same to your, that you
forthwith give the necessary Directions
for putting the same into Execution accordingly
