The Informations of Francis Phillips< no role > of No. 19 helder
Lane London< no role > Musican and John Stuart< no role > of No 126 same
Place Hairdresser Taken the 13th Octr 1781

Informant Francis Philips< no role > saith that having oceanson to
go to the House of said other Informant about four oClock yesterday Evening where the Prisoner
Margaret Odere< no role > then was, that immediately upon his entring
the Shop the Prisoner laid hold of him about the middle and
dragged him into an James Room and placed him upon a
Chair and took great Freedom with him and asked him of
he had any Money about him, that he told her he had not, but
if she permitted him to rise he would treat her, that she then
insisted upon searching his Pockets which Informant refused
opanting whereupon she forceably endeavoured to search his Backes
Pockets and in the Scuffle Informant observed his Watch in her
hand which she put into her Pocket, that he then charged her
with having robbed him if his Watch which she positiively
deniedhavingthat upon Prisoners seeing Informant determined
to search her, she took it out of her Pocket and threw it through
the Window into the Shop

Informant John Stuart< no role > saith that the Prisoner now
under Examination came Yesterday Evening to his Shop to have
her Four dressed and that during her stay there the said other
Informant came in and was laid hold of by the Prisoner and
taken into the Parlour that soon after [..] Informant Phillips
cry'd out that he had lost his Watch and Charged the Prisoner
with having taken it That Informant insisted upon her giving
it up which she at first deined having, but afterwards confessed
she had it and upon lefting her use she look it from her Pockett
and threw it through the Window into the Shop
