This Information upon his Oath Saith that on
or about the Seventh day of September 1781 being as Mr
H near the Cold Bath Hoxton he saw and was
in Company with James Underwood< no role >
, James Brockley< no role >
, and
Thomas Harris< no role >
and after a little Conversation this Informant
took up the News Paper to Read and then saw the Paragraph
Concerning the Robbery of Mr Sharpe of Holborn Bridge
which this Informant said was a great Robbery and them the
said James Underwood< no role >
Laughed of this Informant and said
Yes it was this Informant said he wondered how is could
he done and who could do it and then the said James
Underwood said is was done upon the Jump and that he
and another Person did it and This Informant further
saith that he verily beleives that the said James Brockley< no role >
was the other Person Concerned he being very full of Money at
that time and that the said James Brockley< no role >
said to this
Informant wee have been to a Stick shop to have a Coin
Altered and that they bought a Supple Jack for Six pence
and this Informant further saith that he hath been in
Company with the said James Underwood< no role >
several times since
and hath heard him declare that he was one of the Persons
who Committed the Robbery at Mr Sharpes aforesaid
