Saith that the Prisoner Paul Humphries< no role >
and Thomas Dowling< no role >
dined at her said Masters House on Friday last about three
o'Clock and said tile about Nine that they called for no Lights
That about Nine o'Clock her Mistress spoke to her and desired
she would carry Light into the Dining Room where the Prisoners
were that she went with a Light in her Hand into the Room
and saw one of the Prisoners, but which she does not knew lay
upon the Sottee Bed but believes 'was Dowling and the other
rise from him as she opened the Door with his Breeches down
and that the one that was on the Sottee Bed lay upon his back
with him Breeches down upon which she went out of the Room
first asking them it they wanted a Light they say'd they did not
that the Curtain of the Window and the Window were both down
tho' both were up when she was in the Room before during the
time they were at Dinner that she immediately informed
her Mistress who stood the outside the Door what she had seen
who called her Master and he then went into the Room and
secured the Prisoners
