The Information of Benjamin Short< no role > , apprentice to
West Thimble by of Coleman Street London Butcher , Who,
being on Oath saith that on Wednesday the seventh day of
this instant June he this Informant saw many Persons
concerned in a Riot in the said Street, when the Goods
Furniture and part of the Dwelling House of Robert
Charleton of Coleman Street aforesaid were demolished
Saith that he saw William Pateman< no role > This name instance is in set 1286. the Prisoner
now under Examination with a blue Cockade in his Hat
that he was one of the Persons concerned in such Riot
that he went about the Street Collecting money that he
saw said Pateman sitting upon Mr. Charletons Furniture< no role >
after they were brought into the Street & put in a pill
that he afterwards, saw him assist in loading the Carts with the
same Goods, which were carried away into Moorfields
and there burnt.
