Poor of the Parish of Precinct of White
Friars London, and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint George Hanover
Square in the County of Middlesex
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Precinct of White Friars
London, That Sarah Allen< no role > aged thirteen Years, Joseph
Allen
< no role > aged eleven years and William Allen< no role > Allen aged three
Years the three Children of Richard Allen< no role > [..]
did lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely tobecome charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Richard Allen< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said three Children, Sarah Allen< no role > , Joseph
Allen and William Allen< no role >
to be in the said Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
in the said County of Middlesex
and that thitherto They ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of was Precinct of White Friars
London, forthwith to remove and Convey the said Sarah Allen< no role > ,
Joseph Allen< no role > and William Allen< no role >
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of Saint
George Hanover Square , in the County of Middlesex [..]
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 18th Day of October One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy nine.
